The Supporting Characters

The Hubs:   We met at a bar.  He's my prince charming & proof that fairy tales exist.   Our story is here

He likes playing video games, watching the Tennessee Titans and Memphis Tigers, playing basketball and playing in the water on his ski boat
Together we make a truly sarcastic pair, but we like it that way.  Other people don't always get us, but its okay because we get each other.  He is my best friend and better half.  He's the quiet to my loud; the silly to my serious; the reality to my daydreaming.   And the most amazing father to all three of my babies.

My first born:  This guy came into my life when I was little more than a kid myself.  He was there when I reached some major milestones.   He was in the audience as I earned a high school AND college diploma; he danced with me at my wedding; welcomed a baby brother and later a sister.    While I was figuring out who I was, being his mother was already there and part of who I am.
On most days, you can find him playing football, watching The Discovery Channel or History shows or playing video games.  Now that he's a teenager, he recently discovered girls.  The next few years are going to be interesting.  Especially since he has my love for sarcasm.

The middle man:  Your stereotypical middle child, this one is the most like me from his looks to his attitude.  He wears his heart on his sleeve, too smart for his own good and always has to have the last word.
You can typically find him playing basketball or texting on his phone.  Unfortunately, he's been a big hit with the ladies since starting middle school.    He has a special place in the family since he's the only one that is both an older and younger brother.

The Diva, aka Cheeks:  After being the mom to two boys, I didn't believe I wanted a little girl.  I was fine with Lego's, army men & cars.  That is, until I was given this little princess.  According to the husband, she's a mini-me.  She loves shopping, dancing,  getting pedicures, Barbies, dress-up & soccer.  Living with boys she also appreciates a good football game, playing with army men & video games. She's also her father's daughter.  She's already amazing at Math, trying to water ski and begging for summertime so she can play on the boat.
She has her daddy wrapped around one little finger & her brothers around the other.  Everyone who meets her loves her.  I'm forever laughing at things she says.   So far, her future careers include (but are not limited to):  professional golfer, dancer & singer/song writer, mommy, teacher, doctor and college cheer leader.

I spend my days taking care of these people.  We're constantly shuffling from ballet, football or basketball.  There are practice, games, recitals and banquets.  Not to mention play dates, groceries and laundry (oh, the laundry= my nemesis).

Yes, my days are crazy and busy.  But they are also wonderful.  Without these 4 other people, my life would be boring.  I wouldn't trade it for the world.
