Silly Men.
One of the job descriptions I fill as a wife/mom is appointment setter. I'm the one who finds the doctors, makes sure they're in our Insurance coverage makes the appointments and sets reminders. And depending on the age of the family member, I'm then the designated person lucky enough to take the patent to each appointment, fill out all of the paperwork and wait for the doctor visit, handle prescriptions if needed, etc. You know.. the glamorous part of running a household.
Know what happens when the other adult in this house is allowed to find his own medical care and handle things on his own?
We end up spending $300 more on an office visit because they chose a provider NOT in our coverage. Oy.
