There is a little girl who has my heart. She's sweet, kind, understanding, smart and oh-so-funny. She's the type of girl who everyone adores because she's always such a joy to be near. When I'm sad, one smile on her face can brighten my entire mood.
This girl is going to grow into an amazing young woman. I can see a bright future ahead of her full of hopes and dreams, but mostly happiness.
There are going to be so many wonderful tomorrows for her. I know this because she has made my yesterdays brighter simply by being in them.
And today? is the day that we celebrate the day
she completed our little family.

Today is your birthday. It's the day for celebrations and balloons.. cakes and candles. There will be a party with your friends and time for your family.
It is a day that you have been counting down and looking forward to for months. And while you're excitement is {nearly} catching, I can't help but watch you with tears in my eyes.
You're turning into such a big girl. I notice the way your legs have grown longer, the roundness of your face has almost completely disappeared. You joke you will be writing "front teeth" on your Christmas list, but secretly I adore the big gap in your smile. It's a constant reminder of your present stage in childhood. It's going by oh-so-fast and I have to look really hard to see the baby you used to be.
As the youngest of three kids, you are the icing on my Mommy Cake. I'm not sure what we would do without the sounds of your laughter and silly jokes heard around the house.
I hope today is as wonderful as you are and all of your wishes come true.
