There have been ups and downs and through it all,  you have been with me.  You are my best friend, soul mate and the only person I can envision sitting in rocking chairs when we're old and gray watching grandchildren play in the yard. 

The day I was a bride was magical.  I felt like a princess and you were my Prince Charming.  But the real fairy tale has been the marriage that followed.  Our life together has been everything I dreamed it would be and so much more.  

The words, "I Love You" don't seem to be enough to encompass everything I feel for you because it's only three little words and my feelings are so much more.  They are bigger than any description that I can think of.  But since those little words are all I have, they're what I will use. 

I love you.  More than you could possibly know.  Thank you for being my better half.
