I am totally frustrated with the political nonsense corrupting my Facebook page
I'm more than pissed off when I'm called racist simply for correcting wrong statements
Annoyed that people use SATIRICAL political websites to base their ignorant opinions on
Thought Ms. Romney gave a great speech last night even though she is not the most eloquent of personal speakers
Have no problems with people who believe differently than me if they form educated opinions
Believe the war-on-women is detracting from more pressing issues like Tax Reform and Foreign Policy
Grew up with one of the staunches Democrats in this county and can argue with the best of them
Wishes people could agree to disagree
Or be able to debate politics without getting nasty and personal
Wonders why our politicians' campaigns seem to last longer than their actual terms
Thinks campaigns should be limited to 6 months prior to the election

As you know, I'm linking up with Neely and Amber for their weekly carnival of fun

I am frustrated with the political crap on Facebook too. I made the mistake of getting into an argument with somebody who supports somebody I do NOT... had to back off from there. But the war rages on.
Campaigns are ridiculous in my book. I understand why its necessary, but it's all a play. Like the theater.
And yes, I agree, people should agree to disagree.
Discussing your political afflictions should be forbidden. A federal offense. You may listen and form your own opinion and vote in your own way, but you may NOT discuss it with the public. Thats the way it oughta be.
I'm kind of late commenting on this post, but sadly enough the past couple of weeks I've had to hide the posts of several FB friends from my news feed. Both Democrats and Republicans, so it wasn't that I didn't agree with their position. I found it annoying to open FB to find out what is going on in people's lives, only to discover they believe that if Obama is re-elected the entire world as we know it will end, or that Romney is a sexist racist. Ugh.
