Family Week at the Lake

After a weekend with our friends camping and canoeing, we met the in laws

at the lake with our kids for an entire week of bonding with nature. 

And in case you didn't follow the updates on twitter... 

I was D-O-N-E near day 4.  

Lack of coffee, showering with flip flops on, cooking and eating outside not to mention

sleeping on what could barely be considered a mattress.  

I wanted to go home.  

But like a good mom and wife, I stuck it out because the rest of my people? 

Had.A.Blast.  

I should get an award for this people.  

And if you are one of the lucky few that live in my phone?   You saw the pictures. 

I think it speaks VOLUMES for how much I adore the man I married.  

But really??  How could I be that unhappy when this was my view all day, every day?

Since I'm usually ON the boat, I took advantage of this point of view from the shore.

Although she knows she probably won't get up, she is determined to try every time 

we're at the lake.  I love the sound of her scream followed by laughter.
