And the greatest support I have comes from the guy I married.
There are moments he drives me crazy, but at the end of the day I count myself extremely lucky to have found one of the good guys.
For Father's Day, his only request is to make a trip to the lake. So that is exactly what we did.
We arrived Friday afternoon with plenty of daylight so the boys could cut the yard and I could do one of my favorite things ever.... People watch at the local Walmart.
If you haven't ever hung out in a small town Walmart on a Friday night, you are truly missing out. Trust me.
Once it was dark, we grilled hot dogs over a campfire. YUM!

Saturday and Sunday were filled with lots of time at the lake

Nathan volunteered to ski first. It seems that skiing is like riding a bike and he popped right up out of the water.
The look on his face when he got outside the wake for the first time is PRICELESS.
The highlight of Cheeks' weekend was getting to go on her very first SOLO tube ride. I was one nervous momma, but everything was fine and she had a blast.

Andrew broke out his new skis, but unfortunately never QUITE made it on top of the water. He kind of did, but then promptly faceplanted. He decided to stick to the safety of the tube after that.

Of course we made a little time for some trout fishing off the dock.
Gosh.. I love these faces.
Hope the hubs had a wonderful Father's Day.. I don't know where we would be without him.
